Ageing plant does not have to be replaced to be reliable again. We strip, refurbish and re-test breakers, transformers and switchgear: breaker overhaul and contact replacement, SF6 handling, transformer oil filtration, dissolved gas analysis and bushing replacement, busbar re-tightening, thermography and IR surveys, panel refurbishment and relay retrofits.
Every overhaul ends with a condition assessment report that takes a view on residual life — so the next capital decision is made on evidence rather than on age.
