Installation, Testing & Calibration
NABL-traceable testing and calibration of primary and secondary equipment, with reports accepted by utilities and electrical inspectorates.
Testing is where a substation is either proven or quietly left unproven. We carry out the full protocol on primary and secondary equipment: transformer ratio, vector group, magnetising current and tan-delta; breaker timing, contact resistance and insulation; CT and PT ratio, polarity, magnetisation and burden; numerical relay configuration, secondary injection and protection coordination; earth resistance and cable HV testing.
Our instruments carry traceable calibration certificates, and the reports we issue are the ones utilities and electrical inspectorates accept. Where a reading is out of expectation we say so and explain it rather than filing it — an anomaly found during testing is cheap, the same anomaly found after energisation is not.
Testing is not sub-contracted here. The team that erected the equipment is the team that proves it, which is why our engineers can defend any value in the report years later.
