A shutdown is measured in one currency: production hours lost. We plan around that. Method statements and an hour-by-hour schedule are agreed before mobilisation, crews work round the clock where the window demands it, and every punch-list item is closed before restart clearance.
Safety discipline does not loosen because the schedule is tight — permits, lock-out/tag-out and daily toolbox talks apply exactly as they do on a greenfield site. Emergency breakdown response is available outside planned windows.
